Support TCA
The generous support of our donors made possible our stellar 2008 – 2009 season. From the fabulous Mendelssohn Octet for Strings brought to us by the Academy of St. Martin in the Fields Chamber Ensemble, to the dulcet tones of the King’s Singers, to the breathtaking Bach Sonata in B minor played so intimately by Tara Helen O’Connor and Jeremy Denk, to Angela Hewitt’s peerless renditions of Bach…what a season!
But in this challenging financial climate, we need you to continue to support TCA programs as generously as you have in the past. We strive to keep our ticket prices affordable, but we cannot underwrite the level of quality we currently enjoy without your generous contributions over and above the price of subscription.
Series subscription ticket sales cover just over half TCA operating costs. In the 2007 – 2008 series year, 62% of TCA subscribing families made donations beyond the ticket price, contributing $0.70 for every dollar of ticket sales. Your continuing support enables us to “Bring World-Class Music Home”. Thanks!
In return, there are many new benefits at various giving levels including reserved seating and artist’s receptions. There are also rewards for subscribing early including discounted tickets for your out-of-town guests. We want you, our loyal supporters, to be the first beneficiaries of these new and special benefits.
